Dr Bennett enjoys sharing her knowledge and connecting to the community. In addition to consulting at her clinic and via telehealth, Dr Bennett is an experienced presenter and public speaker. Dr Bennett values her opportunities to speak at meetings and to groups as the potential to impact more children and families is far greater than Dr Bennett could ever achieve via individual consultations. Her interest in presenting and public speaking was sparked when she completed her studies in Public Health and community engagement.
Invariably, Dr Bennett benefits from these speaking engagements through stimulation of her own thinking and beliefs, motivation to keep up to date with the latest developments in her areas of interest and the enjoyment of meeting other passionate professionals, carers and stakeholders.
Examples of presentations that Dr Bennett was engaged to provide in 2017 included a discussion regarding Complex Developmental and Behavioural Issues in Pre-Schoolers with the Child and Family Nurses Association of ACT members and information about Medications Prescribed for Children Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder with the local members of the Mental Health Professionals’ Network.
Fee-free presentations and public speaking engagements attended by Dr Bennett may be available to Not-For-Profit groups. To enquire about Dr Bennett’s availability and suitability for an event please do not hesitate to be in contact.
