Dr Bennett is a Consultant Community Child Health Paediatrician working in Private Practice in Canberra, ACT and Geelong, VIC. Her practice is focused on caring for children and adolescents with Neurodevelopmental and Behavioural Disorders. Over the last 10 years, Dr Bennett has assisted families in South Australia, Australian Capital Territory and New South Wales optimise their child’s development, wellbeing, social and academic success.
Dr Bennett is now offering her consultations via telehealth, hoping to provide her specialised paediatric services for families unable to travel to a local paediatrician. Dr Bennett can now provide consultations for children in all areas of Australia (including Tasmania and country New South Wales). Dr Bennett is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians and registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency. She is a trained and accredited Griffiths-3 assessor. Dr Bennett has post-graduate qualifications in Public Health. During her previous roles, Dr Bennett has trained and registered as an Autism Diagnostician in South Australia and has acted as an expert witness for the Child Protection System. Dr Bennett prioritises ongoing learning to ensure that she provides the best care possible to the families that attend her consultations.
